Lots of people thinks only their birthdays and anniversaries are only to be recognized. Why is it important to celebrate all of your milestones and major accomplishments? Celebrating gives us a sense of achievement, and it’s the best way in rewarding ourselves for a job well done.
All that glitters is not gold’ is a saying that refers to a line in the Shakespeare play, The Merchant of Venice, found in act 2, scene 7.
The statement ‘All that glitters is not gold’ expresses in a wonderful metaphor, the idea that things that we perceive most valuable on the surface, like gold or marble, are often deceptive. Frequently, the more exceptional things may appear in life that makes them more valuable.
It’s an expression that dates back into 12th century.
It is common that using a substance like gold as an image of the most valuable material in the world, recognising its shiny appearance, and pointing out that there are other things that are also shiny, then concluding that because they are shiny doesn’t mean they are valuable, makes a universal statement about our values.
An individual’s will be able to recognize the differences between a prosperous deal from a bad one only if they if they master their minds. Train themself to identify the hoax from the real would definitely benefit them both in the short term and long term. Self discipline is basically mastery of oneself. Becoming the best you in whatever area you’ve decided to pursue whether it may be through painting, dancing, becoming that specialist or just being a teacher.
2. More Knowledge more power.
A little knowledge is lethal. A lot of knowledge is a wonderful thing.
Way back in the day, I’ve tried to engage myself in every teenage activity you could think off. From a curious boy’s perspective i had at times did some unquestionable things out of just not having anything to do.What i knew was that always had me going was seeing my favourite cartoon characters experimenting and trying new things and me wanting to tryout too. The knowledge of knowing what i can do next was fun exciting and had my sibling saying “wow” that’s crazy.
In reflection I thought of the critical importance of education, but of knowledge itself. I thought of
three reasons why knowledge have an intense affects on my entire life. Knowledge is power. Knowledge is liberating. Knowledge is wealth.
I had recognize the importance of knowledge and education towards success in one’s career, how it ensures independence and a more fulfilling life. Having not i have seen these educational shows and programs that have had a greater influence on my ideas and thoughts. The knowledge and results i have today wouldn’t have been celebrated. Life-enriching values of knowledge last. Society has conditioned us to believe the primary reason for an education is to secure a good job. While it’s normal for us, to want a lifestyle that’s as good or better means going to good schools and getting good grades and ending up in a high-paying career, we overlook sometimes the fundamental benefits of a good education, whether formal or informal.
3. Healthy Investment Habits.
Just as we have changed our attitudes and behaviors towards a healthier living against the spread of Covid-19, we can definitely take steps to define safeguard our financial lives from future adversities.
The biggest payoff from increasing finances can be security in one’s self having that peace of mind. But the benefits of preparation turn tangible fast if you face a turmoil having a crisis-plan proof philosophy without needing to borrow at a high interest rate or sell investments at a loss can mean the difference between staying afloat or sinking. There are many areas you can tap into, in ensuring your back plan is criss-proof.
- First saving early– whether it be through skills and talents, knowledge in a particular area, money its worthy banking it up and using it effectively.
- Expect emergencies– not all the time the market for your talents are favourable, sometimes we would have to switch things up abit to get ahead in life. Having extra cash whether it be put aside for unexpected cost or learning a new skill like painting or videography, can put you one step ahead of the crowd.
- Having a Mentor – can being the determining factor for one making it or not. Mentorship
empowers and encourage the support for growth in one’s improvement. It helps build a professional network and aids in leadership development. Receiving useful feedback on a particular behaviour can make the difference in you becoming highly successful.
There are many way in which you yourself can actually be apart of this if it is you do believe you have something to offer. From the hit of COVID 19 back in 2019, virtual celebration became a certain option to recognized the success of the graduates as school, college, or university authorities birthdays moved to arrange zoom sessions online. Ultimately, graduation should not be something you put aside. We are expected to make the most of what we want out of life. Spending quality time together with friends and family who can add and not subtract from one’s. And having them on one platform can help with discipline, self awareness and peace of mind, you get a chance to honored.
In 2022, the commencement of a art business NJA also known as Nahshon Jeremiah Arts Graduation ceremony was held at grand Asne, St George Grenada in their intimate studio it was a mixture of the passionate, about to be passionate and inspired to be in a hybrid in-person ceremony. Students expressed their heartfelt commitment to the craft by creating a hand painted art piece that represented their milestone in the create endeavours. Prepared by the team the celebrative event was a success and made history in being grenada’s first certified Graduation ceremonies for the arts.
