Grenada Bucket List: 3 Must-See Places

Is Grenada on your bucket list? Good choice. Here are three places to put on it.

1. House of Chocolate

On Young Street in St George's: a small museum, gift shop and café. Learn how Grenada's cocoa becomes chocolate, then taste it and take some home.

2. Hog Island

Just off the south coast, reached by water taxi or footbridge from the Woburn road.

  • Quiet on weekdays, lively on Sundays, when Roger's Barefoot Beach Bar has live music and fresh barbecue.
  • Some of the island's best snorkelling and diving. Bring your own gear.
  • Picnic tables and grills are there; pack lunch, drinks and beach games.

3. The Tower, St Paul's

A beautiful old estate. Take the tour, then stay for brunch or afternoon tea made with produce from the farm, and try the organic flower teas grown on the grounds.
